Hello! My name is Stephanie Youngman and I am the ADSIS teacher for the 2017 - 2018 school year here at Willow River! This is my first year teaching at WR, but my eighth year overall.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I currently live in Cloquet, MN where I live with my husband Joel and my fur-baby Otto.
I went to high school in Esko and after graduation, I attended Bemidji State University. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Communication Arts and Literature.
Prior to coming to Willow River, I subbed in several area schools. I taught Title I and Indian Ed. at South Ridge School up in Culver, MN, I taught high school students at Mash-Ka-Wisen Native American Treatment Center in Sawyer, MN, and I also taught Indian Ed. at the alternative high school in Cloquet. I absolutely love being in a non-traditional classroom! It's always different and things change constantly. It's a fun environment to teach in!
